Hosted by Pat Quan Real Estate, my 2nd summer River Cats event was lots and lots of fun.
Thanks a lot to my co-sponsor, Vicki Fargo at Princeton Capital.
It was nice break from talking about Folsom Real Estate and the El Dorado Hills Real Estate for a couple hours. OK, the secret's out. Several clients and I really did talk about Folsom and El Dorado Hills Real Estate, including Sacramento, Fair Oaks, Orangevale and Placerville.
We were only interrupted by the constant barrage of runs scored by the River Cats. It didn't seem like a fair fight. No 10-run rule in AAA as they won 15-1. The River Cats are stocked with a lot of players that have major league experience with the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's. I think it's really cool to see Travis Ishikawa play. All of us Giants fans know how important he was to the Giants World Series run. Yet, the River Cats pitcher, Dan Slania was making his AAA debut for the River Cats and pitched just like all of the other awesome San Francisco Giants pitchers. He was unhittable.
The game started earlier than usual at 5pm. Luckily, it was a little cooler but definitely still a warm Sacramento night. We had lots of cool water, ice cold Cokes and oh yes, they do sell beer at these games. But the sausages and hot dogs are fantastic. They have a 1/2 pound hot dog that really should feed two. But it never seems to. And I can't resist the smell of the garlic fries.
Overall, a fun night. Hanging out with family & clients and enjoying the River Cats at the wonderful Raley Field. I love where I live!
